Vocational Rehabilitation and Consulting Services
I am a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with over a decade of experience in rehabilitation services. During my undergraduate studies in Psychology and Biology, I undertook intensive coursework in human anatomy and physiology, psychopharmacology, and performed research in behavioral neurobiology. While completing my master’s degree, I received training in both Rehabilitation and Clinical Mental Health Counseling through a Counsel on Rehabilitation Education (CORE)/Counsel for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) dual accredited program.
I completed a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counseling where I received specialized training in vocational evaluations and assessment during my studies, gaining an expertise in vocational testing. I hold the International Psychometric Evaluator Certification from the American Board of Vocational Experts.
I have worked in a variety of settings including vocational rehabilitation, corrections, inpatient psychiatric, intensive outpatient, student disability support, job placement, and clinical mental health counseling services.
I have experience in vocational evaluations, the intersection of psychiatric and physical concerns, treatment of serious mental illness, substance use disorders, polytrauma/traumatic brain injury, case management, educational and workplace accommodations, job placement services, and complex analyses of current and past labor markets.
I have performed Vocational Evaluations and Employability Analyses in multiple settings including vocational rehabilitation services, transition assessments, and litigated matters. I also provide career counseling and job search coaching services for individuals with and without disabilities across a range of occupations and career stages.
I am based in Southern Illinois and serve the surrounding area including St. Louis, Chicago, and Nashville. However, I have worked with clients from coast to coast.
